Cole Masten. Married to Nadia Smith. One half of Hollywood’s golden couple. The press adored them, fans worshiped them, the box office was owned by them. Together, they could do no wrong.

Cole Masten. Abandoned by Nadia Smith. Hollywood’s Perfect Husband is now Hollywood’s Sexiest Bachelor: partying hard and screwing even harder. Move over Colin Farrell, there’s a new bad boy ruling Los Angeles.

I’m Summer Jenkins, a small town girl stuck in Quincy, Georgia. I cook some mean chicken and dumplins, can bluff a grown man out of his savings in poker, and was voted Most Friendly my senior year. Other than that… I don’t have too much going on.

We were from different worlds. Our lives shouldn’t have collided. But when Cole Masten’s jet landed in our country airport, we all sat up in our rocking chairs and watched. And when an opportunity crossed my path, I jumped at the chance.

But I didn’t expect what ended up happening. I didn’t expect Cole Masten to be an ass, or to pursue me, or for everything to get tangled up around set riggings, camera cords, and heartstrings.

I didn’t expect for my sleepy town to come under a national microscope. I don’t think any of us did.

A.S. Torre’s books have always been a good read and Hollywood dirt didn’t dissappoint. It’s a simple yet very good story of two damaged and scandalized people finding each other and I love how she weaved them together without making it look like a forced love story. I love how she wrote it with giving you bits and bits of the information that you need so you crave more every page. The characters grew so much in the story not only because of the romance but also in themselves as an individual.

Cole’s marriage to Nadia was so good at first that one would think it would last but Nadia was such an opportunistic bitch that when she got what she wanted with Cole she cheated on him and wanted to take all his money or rather a big chunk of it. Cole love her so much he will be willing to give it to her but not his movie The Fortune Bottle.

Summer lives in the little millionare town of Quincy where she was scandalized after poisoning her bridesmaids and her fiance in her rehearsal dinner after she knew that he was cheating on her. She then became an outcast, living with her mother, with no clear plan on where to go from there. Not until the scout for The Future Bottle came to town and she landed a deal that can get her out of town.

The attraction between the two is so obvious it’s palplable. It’s a the more you hate the more you love situation. They despise each other so much that no one is backing down then one moment their kissing and undressing each other. If you are one for sizzling building up tension love story kind of person then this book is definitely for you.

In conclusion, I’m giving this book 4 Royal Stars because it had the right amount of sass, romance, wit, tension and character growth.
