It’s all fun and parties until someone falls in love in this modern fairy tale from author Kate Evangelista.
Caleb desperately needs a new fake girlfriend. Either he attends a series of parties for his father’s law firm with a pretty girl on his arm, or he gets shipped off to Yale to start a future he’s not ready for and isn’t sure he wants. And sadly the last unattached girl in his social circle has just made the grievous mistake of falling in love with him. Fortunately, Didi, the waitress at the Country Club who just lost her job, is open to new experiences (also, art supplies are expensive!). It’s the perfect setup for them both. Caleb has only one rule for the arrangement: Didi must not fall in love with him.
The summer nights tick by in a whirl of lavish parties, and Didi is enjoying her foray into high society. But Caleb soon starts to worry that this time he’s the one in danger of falling in love…
Praise for No Love Allowed by Kate Evangelista:
“The romance was incredible. There was also a great set of secondary characters. Nathan was my favorite. And I’m so thrilled that he’s going to get his own story too. I can’t wait for it. The perfect YA contemporary romance for me. It had humor, romance, awesome characters, and great writing. Pretty much everything I want in a book.” —Stephanie, Bookfever
“I read this book three times in succession . . . it’s a read that leaves you with that silver lining of optimism and hope that everyone who wants love, can and will find it if they just give love a chance.” —Noey Pico, whatsageek.com

This book started out as the usual bad boy likes unusual girl trope but as the story goes on it became much more deeper than just a typical love story. I loved how the characters developed from start to finish. The couple was a little instalove at the start but I made peace with it at the end. The book was well written and fast paced so no dull moments were encountered. The secondary characters were so lovable and likeable especially Nathan. I loved him so much.

I highly recommend this book if you want a love story that will make you believe in true love and sacrifice and the hard work needed to obtain it.

Gave this book 4 royal lovable stars! A definite must read for contempprary romance lovers out there. ❤
